The Reappearance of Whitney Houston

Happiness is a cigar called Hamlet

It is common to see stars falling from the peak of their careers because of drug abuse and there have already been several similar cases in recent months. Those falling "poison stars" are mostly brought to their knees, however, there is still people turning a new leaf and Nirvana rebirth, and once again fly high into the sky, such as Whitney Houston. After 7-year silence, Whitney Houston finally climbed out of the valley of life, and to appear in front of fans with a new image, and bring her latest album, "I Look to You".

The disc get nearly 305,000 sold in the first week after released, and snatched the chart-topping of America's most credible billboard, known as "The Biggest Return This Year" in American music circle. Whitney Houston's album did not purse fashion but handed a perfect examination paper to her fans with plain and practical style. Even though the voice isn't as glory and high-pitched as before due to the drug, hoarse voice is full of vicissitudes of the texture and even more appealing. While proving herself again with her singing ability, Whitney Houston also faces the media actively and has received all kinds of interviews. Recently, in an interview of the well-know talk show host, Oprah Winfrey, Whitney Houston openly revealed her bad past of indulging in drugs.

After I Will Always Love You the theme song of the movie The Bodyguard in 1992, she suddenly made a name but meanwhile gradually was not peaceful anymore and became even blundering. After being married with her ex-husband Bobby Brown, Whitney suffered domestic violence. She began a drug addict because of her husband, and went out of control. During the most decadent period, she had stayed at home for a full 7 months, wearing pajamas only, and enjoys the paralysis "pleasure" bring by the drugs. In 2002, Whitney was found with possession of drugs at the airport, thus beginning the hard struggle with the drugs for years, and meanwhile suffered divorce and endless troubles. While in the interview, Whitney did not shift responsibility to her husband but admitted her mistakes bravely.

"Fortunately, God didn't let me go. I've learned to value and got rid of many distracting thought, and also eliminated excess fat." Whitney said. But 46-year-old Whitney did not acknowlege that she had ever left the music circle. "you just like to find fault, and say 'I come back again'. In fact, I am here, having been here just after a break."
